Robin Parker To All Instructors
Algebra I & 2, Advanced Math, and Logic
Robin Parker graduated with honors from the University of Florida in 1978 with a Bachelor of
Science in Banking and Finance. In 1980, she married her husband, David Parker, and began
homeschooling the first of their five children in 1991. For 26 years, she helped progress their
children from kindergarten through 12th grade. Their oldest 3 boys graduated from one of the
following schools: Liberty University, Florida International University, and Savannah College of Art
and Design respectively. Their only daughter graduated with a nursing degree from Florida
International University in May 2016 and works full time in her field while their youngest son graduated from Miami Dade College with an Associate of Arts degree in 2020. The Parkers are now the proud grandparents of 8 grandchildren - 5 grandsons and 3 granddaughters.
In 2011, Robin found her niche when she was asked to tutor the Challenge B class in Classical
Conversations. She was privileged to facilitate over 30 students for 3 years in that program
discovering a love of learning for herself as well as a delight in seeing the “light bulb” go on when a
student finally understood a difficult subject. Robin facilitated Algebra I, Algebra 2, and Part A of
Advanced Math consecutively, as well as Logic, Mock Trial, Latin, Literature, and Science. She has
also been blessed to tutor students in the Math portion of the SAT and help them increase their
scores. In 2017, she was privileged to be added to the BEHC program beginning with Pre-Algebra,
and subsequently added Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Advanced Math and Logic. Since 2019 Robin has
been an integral instructor at BCEP – the Broward Cooperative Education Program – where she
continues helping students master Math and Logic.
